Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, registering, or using the EchoSoul application (developed by No More Alone), you expressly and unreservedly agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these conditions, you must immediately refrain from using our services.

2. Age and Account Requirements

To use EchoSoul, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country of residence to contract digital services).
• Provide a valid email address and maintain the security and integrity of your Supabase login credentials.
• Not use the service for unauthorized commercial purposes or criminal activities.

3. Nature of the Companion and Disclaimer of Warranties

Your conversations on EchoSoul are conducted with a Large Language Model (LLM) configured to act in an empathetic, compassionate, and attentive manner. However:

• Responses are algorithmically generated and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or subjective advice.
• Any recommendations about healthy habits, meditation, or emotional well-being should be taken as recreational and entertainment suggestions.
• We do not guarantee that the virtual companion is 100% free of biases, inaccuracies, or emotional misinterpretations.

4. Crisis and Emergency Protocol

EchoSoul includes a passive emotional crisis keyword detection system for the sole purpose of suggesting and displaying quick access to local helplines. However:

• We are not a rescue or emergency center: EchoSoul does not have the ability to dispatch ambulances, police, psychologists, or firefighters to your physical location, nor to automate external alerts without your manual intervention.
• User Responsibility: If you experience persistent thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or face imminent physical/emotional danger, you formally commit to immediately contact the emergency numbers in your country (such as 911 in the Americas or 112 in Europe) or go to the nearest health center.

5. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

It is strictly prohibited to carry out any action aimed at:

• Manipulating, hacking, or attempting to reverse-engineer the source code of EchoSoul or its n8n workflows.
• Intentionally introducing viruses, trojans, or exploiting vulnerabilities in the Supabase database.
• Using the chat to generate harassing, criminal, hateful content, or content that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, No More Alone, its developers, directors, and licensors shall not be liable under any circumstances for direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:

• The use of conversational responses generated by the virtual companion.
• Personal, financial, medical, or employment decisions made based on EchoSoul's chat.
• Service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches beyond the platform's direct control.

7. Account Suspension and Cancellation

We reserve the right to unilaterally suspend or terminate your access to the application temporarily or permanently if we detect serious violations of these Terms, abusive behavior toward the system, or formal requests from competent judicial authorities.

8. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the primary country of operation of No More Alone's development. Any legal dispute that may arise in connection with the service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. By continuing to use the application after the modifications take effect, you express your agreement with the modified terms.
